Its been a busy 2 months... below is a taster of what we've been up to.
Swimming
We attended swimming lessons at Bishopstown leisure centre for 5 weeks. The children gained confidence and competance in the water. they had opportunities to develop their strokes and enjoy the water with games.
Art
Cork artist Celina Buckley carried out an observational drawing workshop. Each child received a sketchbook and were asked to draw buildings, people and nature from real life. It was challenging for the children as no rubbers or rulers were allowed!
Christmas
The festivities were abundant this year! The class showed fantastic teamwork when decorating our class door.
Our class performed Scrooge for the Christmas concert. Well done to the singers and actors. Thanks to Ms. Walsh for the music. All the rehearsals paid off!
How can we not mention the Christmas Fun Day.... goodies galore! The classroom was a hive of activity, freshly made popcorn, candy floss and hot chocolate all went down a treat! All funds raised were donated to 'My Canine Companion.'
